Then, join us the next day at drINKingDANCE, a social gathering at Dahlak in West Philly on Thursday, May 23rd from 6-9pm.

Jay Oatis



A 2013 Temple University Diamond Research Scholars grant recipient, Jay Oatis is a South Philadelphia based freelance dance artist. He has performed in works by Larry Keigwin, Megan Mazarick, Kyle Abraham and Beau Hancock. He currently works as a Teaching Artist for Pierre Dulaine’s award-winning Dancing Classrooms program, teaching ballroom dance to fifth grade students across the city. He also performs boylesque as Christian Crusade with Liberty City Kings Drag and Burlesque, Philadelphia’s multi-award winning and only queer burlesque troupe.
