Achaetey Kabal (Assistant Production Manager, Five College Dance Department) is a queer mixed Arab stage manager, production manager, sound engineer, technical theatre educator, visual artist, and budding writer interested in the intersection of performance and labor studies. They support dance performances at Amherst College, Hampshire College, Mount Holyoke College, Smith College, and the University of Massachusetts. Select production credits include “Digital Tempest Project” with Hampshire Shakespeare Young Company, “L’enfant et Les Sortilèges” with UMass Opera, “Troilus and Cressida” at Under St Marks Theater, “Dutchman” at The Secret Theatre, “Sadie Mae, 1969” with the Boston Community Collaborative, and “The Gondoliers” with Valley Light Opera.
