Libby Rush

Libby Rush moved from Nashville, Tennessee to Philly in 2012. She is currently
working towards her BFA at the University of the Arts under the direction of Donna Faye
Burchfield. So far, she has performed in works by Jesse Zaritt, Katie Swords-Thurman,
Sidra Bell, and Douglas Becker. She also got the opportunity to dance in an exchange
at the Center for Performance Research in New York City. After completing her first
year of studies at the university, she was eager to find ways to expand her knowledge
of dance and of the growing dance community here in Philadelphia. Excited to find
thINKingDANCE, she is currently the communications intern and is expanding her
knowledge of dance writing.
