Scott Rodrigue



Scott Rodrigue is a psychophysical movement researcher, collaborative theatre maker, and facilitative artist. His Grotowski training spans a variety of lineages: Rena Mirecka, Mario Biagini, Linda Putnam, Erica Fae, Stephen Wangh and the faculty of Acrobatics of the Heart. He has studied composition, viewpoints, and Suzuki through numerous intensives with Anne Bogart and SITI Company. In NYC, he and company AliveWire Theatrics have been resident artists at Dixon Place, Space on White, and Cave home of Leimay. His work has been presented as part of Jeffery Jones' Little Theatre at Dixon Place, Rattlestick Playwright's Theatre's Theatre Jam, Primary Stages' studios, La Mama ETC, and PS122's former 9th St. Theatre. As a teacher Scott has trained in applied pedagogy under master teacher Stephen Wangh (Acrobatics of the Heart, and The Heart of Teaching) and assisted for Raina von Waldenberg. Scott leads a performance research ensemble, Integrated Acts and Manifest Rivers, co-produced by and at The Whole Shebang. In 2013 he taught students from the University of Istanbul during a summer intensive curated by Zishan Ugurlu and hosted by La Mama ETC in NYC.
