Amelia Longo

Amelia has worked with various performing arts organization in Philadelphia, in roles ranging from development to artist contracts
to general administrating.  She has recently stepped into the publicart world with the City of Philadelphia Mural Arts Program, but she continues to see live performances of all kinds at all times.  She serves on committees at the La Salle University Art Museum and Plays and Players Theatre and is a volunteer usher for life.  She likes a lot of dance, but doesn’t always know what else to say about it.
Amelia’s background in writing has ranged from academic, mostly dry, economics-related work to pretty poems and funny stories -- she thinks of critical writing as a near-impossible combination of the two, and is ready for the adventure.
